A federal center will be built in northern New Brunswick to consolidate payroll services for the public sector.
The Canadian Press reports that the federal payroll center in Miramichi will provide services for 46 federal departments and agencies in an effort to save money.
Construction of the new center is expected to begin this summer. The facility is likely to be available for full occupancy in late 2018, according to the federal government.
