Construction on 2,700 homes at the Forest Lakes Country Club outside of Windsor near Highway 101 will begin later this year, reports Hants Journal.
The 1,700-acre site near Ardoise will include condominiums, townhouses, single-family homes, retail space, hotels, parks and a boathouse adjacent to an 18-hole golf course, according to developers.
Terra Firma Development Corporation, run by Maritimers Bradley and Donald Marr, is constructing the new neighbourhood. The firm plans to market the properties to local and international clients who visit the province.
