Nova Scotia Buys Tow PlowsTo Expand Anti-Icing Program

Nova Scotia is expanding its anti-icing program this winter. The province has purchased new tow plows, reports Daily Business Buzz.

Anti-icing takes place before ice can form on roadways and can be applied up to 16 hours before a snowfall.

The tow plows cost $80,000 apiece. One plow will work out of the Bible Hill depot and the other from Sydney.
