Halifax-based MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects Ltd. received a national award from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, reports The Chronicle Herald.
The firm is receiving the institute’s 2014 Architectural Firm Award, which will be presented at an event in Winnipeg during May.In selecting MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple, the jury noted that the 16-person firm has developed a contemporary architecture based on local building and craft traditions.
