The city of St. John has held a public meeting seeking input for the new Wedgwood Park recreation centredesign, reports CBC News.
Councillor Danny Breen said input from the public has already been taken into consideration, with some tweaking to the original design.”This is the third public consultation session we’ve held. There have been some changes, and some suggestions were made by residents, regarding various things such as washrooms, showers,” said Breen.
The city will put the project to tender this fall, and construction is expected to take up to two years.
The project is estimated to cost $32 million.
