South West Health on May 16 announced that construction on the new Islands Health Centre is expected to begin in Freeport (Nova Scotia) next week, reports Digby Courier.
Work will be done by Mid Valley Construction and is expected to be completed by late fall.
The new building represents the ongoing commitment of South West Health, EHS and the Department of Health and Wellness to continue to provide services and primary care support to the people of Long and Brier Islands.
