PEI to build new manors in Montague, Tyne Valley

The Prince Edward Island announced the construction of two new provincial manors, reports The Guardian.

A $19-million project will see manors built in Montague and Tyne Valley. The new Riverview Manor will be a 49-bed facility much like the new Colville Manor in Souris. The 24-bed Tyne Valley Manor will be constructed on the south side of the Bideford Road with an investment of $6.8 million.

The new manors are part of the provincial government’s $63 million dollar manor replacement initiative.
