Construction work is underway at the CAD44.5 million, or $43.07 million, upgrade and extension of the main terminal building of Halifax Stanfield International Airport in Nova Scotia, Canada, reports World Interior Design Network.
The upgrade project is aimed at improving the check-in process using the latest in passenger processing technology. The project will also feature a modernized façade, which is in-line with the rest of the terminal building.
Construction is scheduled to be complete in spring 2014. The work will be done in phases to minimize impact on travellers.
