Tenders should be out by the end of May for construction on Brunswick Street in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, Campbellton Tribune reports.
According to the newspaper, a May 10 special town council meeting agreed to a Roche design that will include sidewalks, green spaces and lighting on both sides of the street.
Snow removal, water run-off and potential water and sewer problems were some of the reasons council rejected a proposal that the street become a boulevard.
Theproject cost was estimated at around $1.2 million, the newspaper reported.
