Juwi Wind Canada is building four wind farms in Nova Scotia, reports Wind Power Engineering.
Vestas will supply 12 V100-2.0 MW wind turbines, totalling 24 MW, for Truro Heights, Millbrook, Whynotts and Chebucto Pockwock projects.
The wind projects are expected to occur in mid-2014 with commissioning in the second half of next year.
Nova Scotia Power reports that eight per cent of the province’s electricity is provided by wind.
