Constriction has started on the new Saint John YMCA facility in the New Brunswick Port City, reports DailyBusinessBuzz.
The project includes the construction of a 6,300-sq.-metre (70,000-sq.-foot) community building on Churchill Boulevard, which will include recreational spaces, multi-purpose space, meeting and instructional rooms.
The province is investing $4.3 million, while the federal government, through ACOA’s Innovative Communities Fund, is investing more than $5.2 million. The YMCA of Greater Saint John is contributing more than $11.7 million.
