The Nova Scotia Department of Infrastructure and Transportation Renewal announced that the repair work on the Indian Sluice Bridge has been completed earlier than scheduled and the bridge is now open without any restrictions, reports The Vanguard.
The work involved replacing the upper portion of the timber deck and inspecting steel connections.
The work, which got underway on June 10, had originally been scheduled for completion onJune 21.
