A 63-year-old Corner Brook man was injured when he fell off of scaffolding at a construction site on University Drive on Tuesday, The Western Star reports July 17.
The accident occurred at around 8:30 a.m. and police say the man was working on the new residence buildings at Grenfell Campus, Memorial University of Newfoundland. He was taken to Western Memorial Regional Hospital with what were classed as non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation into the accident has been turned over to the occupational health and safety division of Service NL. An investigator was on the scene following the incident.
